These terms govern your use of Suria Kod's website and your enrolment in any programme offered by the school. Please read them before submitting an enquiry or application.
1. Definitions
- "School", "we", "us", "our" — Suria Kod, operating from 33 Persiaran Greenhill, 30450 Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia.
- "Learner", "you", "user" — any individual who accesses our website, submits an enquiry, or enrols in a programme.
- "Programme" — any structured course, module or session offered by the school, including the Six-Level AI Development Programme, the Data Engineering for AI Teams module, and the Portfolio Review & Mentoring Session.
- "Agreement" — these Terms & Conditions, together with any enrolment confirmation issued by the school.
- "Content" — all materials, assessments, recorded sessions, written feedback and other materials provided through or in connection with a programme.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an enquiry through our website or confirming enrolment in a programme, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, you should not submit any enquiry or enrol in any programme.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to enrol in any programme.
- You confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
- Enrolment on behalf of an organisation must be authorised by a person with authority to bind that organisation.
3. Programme Description and Availability
Suria Kod offers the following programmes, delivered online:
- Six-Level AI Development Programme — 20 weeks, approximately 12 hours per week, cohort maximum 20 learners, price RM 635
- Data Engineering for AI Teams — 7 weeks, 6–8 hours per week, standalone module, price RM 310
- Portfolio Review & Mentoring Session — 90-minute one-to-one session with written follow-up notes, price RM 120
Programmes are delivered in English. Participation requires a stable internet connection and suitable device. The school reserves the right to modify programme content, timing and structure with reasonable notice to enrolled learners.
4. Enrolment and Accounts
- Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of payment and written confirmation from the school.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information provided during the enquiry and enrolment process.
- Access credentials issued for programme materials are personal and must not be shared.
- The school may decline or cancel an enrolment where cohort capacity is reached or where the applicant does not meet stated prerequisites.
5. Learner Responsibilities
- Submit assessed work that is your own. Submitting work completed by another person is a breach of these terms and may result in removal from the programme without refund.
- Participate in good faith during mentor sessions and office hours.
- Treat other learners and instructors with respect in all communications.
- Not record, distribute or republish programme content without written permission from the school.
- Not use programme content for commercial purposes outside the scope of your own learning.
6. Intellectual Property
All programme content, assessments, materials and website content are owned by Suria Kod or its licensors. Enrolment grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use programme content for personal learning purposes only.
Work you produce during the programme — code, projects, written submissions — remains your property. By submitting work for assessment, you grant the school a limited right to review it and provide feedback.
7. Payment and Refunds
All prices are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Payment is due before the programme start date or before a portfolio review session is confirmed.
Refund Policy
- More than 7 days before cohort start: Full refund, minus any payment processing fees.
- 3–7 days before cohort start: 50% refund.
- Less than 3 days before cohort start or after the cohort has started: No refund. Deferral to a future cohort may be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
- Portfolio Review: Full refund if cancelled more than 48 hours before the scheduled session. No refund for cancellations within 48 hours.

8. Programme-Specific Terms
Six-Level Programme and Data Engineering Module
- Progression to the next level requires completion of the current level's assessed work to the stated standard.
- Levels may be retaken. There is no additional charge for a retake within the same cohort cycle.
- Mentors are available for office hours as published. The school will provide advance notice of any changes to scheduled hours.
- Cohort sizes are capped as stated. If a cohort is full at the time of your application, you will be offered a place in the next available cohort or a full refund.
Portfolio Review
- Materials for review must be shared with the reviewer at least 48 hours before the scheduled session.
- Written notes will be delivered within 3 working days of the session.
- The session is advisory. The school does not warrant any specific outcome from acting on the feedback provided.
9. Disclaimers
Programmes are provided on the basis of the information available at the time of delivery. The school does not warrant that:
- Completion of a programme will result in employment or a particular career outcome.
- The content will be free of errors or current at all times.
- Mentor availability will be uninterrupted under all circumstances.
Completion rates published on the website reflect historical cohort data and do not constitute a prediction of individual performance.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Suria Kod's total liability to you for any claim arising from or in connection with these terms or a programme is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant programme.
The school is not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss, including loss of earnings or career opportunity. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by applicable consumer protection law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Suria Kod and its staff from any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of programme content, or your submission of work that is not your own.
12. Termination
The school may remove a learner from a programme without refund if the learner:
- Submits work that is not their own
- Behaves in a way that disrupts the experience of other cohort members
- Shares access credentials or programme content with third parties
A learner may withdraw from a programme at any time, subject to the refund policy in Section 7. Sections 5, 6, 10 and 11 survive termination.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. The courts of Perak, Malaysia have jurisdiction over disputes arising from it.
Before initiating formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting [email protected] and allowing 30 days for a response.
14. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These terms, together with the enrolment confirmation, constitute the full agreement between you and the school.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder of these terms continues in effect.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
- Assignment: You may not assign your enrolment or rights under these terms without written consent from the school.
- Notices: Formal notices should be sent to [email protected] or to our postal address.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new Last Updated date. For enrolled learners, material changes will be communicated by email with at least 14 days notice before they take effect. Continued participation after that date constitutes acceptance.
